CLP Central Expands Client Management Executive Team

January 14, 2019, Rehoboth Beach, DE – CLP Central is pleased to announce the hiring of Ed Stern as Director of Program Management. Ed will expand CLP Central’s business development resources and be responsible for overseeing the support CLP Central provides its vendor client Consultant Liaison Programs (CLP).

Ed brings over 25 years of successful experience in sales, channel, marketing and especially consultant relationship program management. Over several years, he successfully managed the Consultant Liaison Programs at Lucent, Avaya and SPS, driving millions of dollars annually in new sales opportunities through the influence of consultants with whom he built business relationships. Ed’s past experiences also include senior sales and channel positions at ScanSource and Lifesize.

Ed has a solid understanding of the competitive UC and AV landscape and understands strategic liaisons and market direction of technology companies for success. In Ed’s new role with CLP Central, he’ll be representing some of the industry’s most technologically advanced manufacturers to help consultants bring more value and solutions to their end-user clients. Ed remains invigorated by the technologies and presenting them to industry consultants.

“Ed was a client of mine back in his Lucent/Avaya CLP management days,” said Mick Sawka, Managing Partner of CLP Central. “I saw first-hand his ability to build mutually beneficial business relationships with the right consultants, driving opportunities for both Lucent/Avaya and the consultant. Ed’s relationship management background and understanding of UC/AV technologies will help CLP Central add more value and success to the CLPs we help build and manage for our vendor clients.”
